stethescope_on_calendarThe practice has made major changes in an effort to improve services for our patients. We aim to make it possible for patients to be seen by a GP within 48 hours.

Before you call, please consider whether your appointment is;

  • an emergency (call 999)
  • urgent (request an on-the-day appointment)
  • non-urgent (request a book ahead appointment – you can do this up to a month in advance)

Our receptionist can help you decide what sort of appointment you need.

The appointment booking line opens at 07:00AM You can also book an appointment online. Please contact the surgery to register an account for this service.

Telephone Triage

The practice operates a triage telephone consultation service on selected days.  On these days, you will be telephoned by either a doctor or a nurse and an appointment will be made for you if necessary.

Telephone Consultations

We have some telephone appointments available and can be booked by the receptionist. Your details will be noted and you will be given an approximate time when the doctor will call you back. Please ensure that you leave a contact telephone number if you are not at home. On occasions the doctor may ask you to come into the surgery following a telephone consultation.

Please Note:

If you insist on seeing a specific GP, or want to attend the appointment at a specific time you waive your right to an emergency appointment within 24 or 48 hours!
